Samoan Kiwis – Daylight saving ends this evening don’t forget to set your clocks back

Remember to turn your clocks back an hour before bed tonight.

In New Zealand, daylight saving time ends at 3 a.m. on the first Sunday of April.

When this happens, everyone sets their clocks back by one hour. This change means that while it gets darker earlier in the evening, there’s more light in the morning.

It’s a reminder for many of us to enjoy an extra hour of sleep. Also, it’s a good time to check and make sure your smoke alarms are working.

In New Zealand, Daylight Saving Time commences on the last Sunday of September, when clocks are advanced by an hour to GMT+13. This period concludes on the first Sunday of April each year, at which point clocks are set back an hour to GMT+12.
