It’s official! The countdown to who will be Samoa’s next tama’ita’i that will represent our country at the national, regional, and international events, paying homage to our values as Samoan women by showcasing our heritage, culture, and traditions, has begun.
Whoever she will be, she will symbolize more than beauty; she will reflect the essence of a true Samoan tama’ita’i—resilient, intelligent, respectful, kind, loving, God-fearing, committed, and dedicated to service.
The announcement was made by reigning Miss Samoa Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke at the Digicel Samoa headquarters, where she confirmed the young tamai’ta’i vying for the crown at this year’s Digicel Pacific 2024 Miss Samoa Pageant.
And more than 10 hopefuls have stepped up to follow Moemoana’s footsteps to be the next Miss Samoa. Out of the 22 that applied for the pageant, 15 were accepted.
