The National University of Samoa (NUS) has published its April-June 2024 newsletter, showcasing key achievements and initiatives across the institution. Vice-Chancellor Professor Tufuiusa’a Patila Amosa highlights “significant events and milestones that not only enhance the educational landscape within our institution but also resonate with our commitment to community and national development.”

The newsletter covers a range of topics, including the university’s collaboration with the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) to address skills gaps in Samoa’s workforce, as well as new healthcare education projects supported by a Japanese consortium and Brigham Young University.

Additionally, NUS reaffirms its focus on environmental sustainability through partnerships with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) and the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), alongside cultural preservation efforts led by the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship.
