Oleksandr Usyk, the reigning WBA, WBC, and WBO heavyweight champion, has expressed keen interest in this matchup. Usyk, who made history in 2024 by becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion in over two decades after two victories over Tyson Fury, has indicated that he plans to face the winner of the Dubois-Parker fight later this year.

He stated, “52 per cent for Daniel and 48 per cent for Parker; that is what my team have predicted.” This assessment underscores the closely contested nature of the fight, with both boxers bringing impressive recent performances to the ring.
