Over 100 girls from government schools in Fa’asaleleaga gathered in Iva, Savai’i, for the Football Federation Samoa (FFS) Women’s Campaign. This is the first time the initiative has been held in Savai’i, following a similar event in Upolu last year.
Organised by Women’s Football Manager Nadia Malifa and Women’s Coordinator Sila Lelevaga, the event brought together students, teachers, and supporters for a day of football and community-building. Participants received bright orange uniforms, and the event featured food and fresh fruit to enhance the experience.
“The program in Savai’i was a joyful experience that flowed seamlessly. The girls had a fantastic time, forging new friendships and connecting with peers from different schools,” Malifa said.
Malifa and Lelevaga thanked the participating schools for their support. The event was a success because of their support.
