A young Samoan based in Auckland is preparing to release the first drop of his gym clothing brand, VoidX8.
Jason Nati, 22, told Samoa Newshub the brand is a dream he has been working towards for some time.
He said the name VoidX8 carries personal meaning. “VOID” represents the emptiness, doubt and hard moments he has faced, while “X8” represents infinite growth, falling, rising and becoming stronger each time.
“It is a lifestyle clothing brand I’ve been building based around discipline, growth and turning pain into purpose,” he said.
“It’s more than just clothing to me. It’s something I genuinely pour my heart into creating and something I want people to relate to when they’re chasing a better version of themselves.”

Nati said the gym has played a major role in shaping his mindset and his goals.
“What I value about the gym is that it teaches discipline and consistency. It became more than fitness for me. It also helped me mentally, pushing me to become better in other areas of life too.
“It also gave me skills and knowledge that I can use to help people achieve their fitness goals.”
For Nati, the brand came from a period of self-doubt, pressure, overthinking and uncertainty about his direction in life.
“All I felt was empty and lost until God gave me this dream,” he said.
“So I worked on this brand, VoidX8, something that helped me find my passion and purpose. Going to the gym helped me build mental and physical discipline, a mindset that inspired the brand.
Jason Nati is preparing for the first drop of VoidX8, a gym clothing brand built around discipline, growth and purpose.
“As an islander, I always believe that we can do greater things as long as we believe we can do it and with the right mindset.”
Fitness clothing has become part of a wider lifestyle for many young people, not only in the gym but also in how they express discipline, confidence and personal growth.
Nati said he is now developing the official VoidX8 website, where customers will be able to place orders once the first drop is launched.
He currently works as a technician and has family roots in Vaitele Fou, Sapapali‘i, Palauli and Saipipi.
People can follow the brand on Instagram at @voidx8_official for updates.
