The festivities commenced with a Fautasi Race last week, followed by traditional Samoan performances such as “siva, pese & faleaitu” by various groups. Today, schools around Lepea gathered for a march, accompanied by the police band and members of parliament. The march and gathering took place at Lepea, a significant location associated with the Mau movement.
