Malie, Samoa – In a remarkable display of academic excellence, 16-year-old Shana Fa’alogo Ailaoa from Malie has been named the dux of Wesley College during the school’s annual prize-giving ceremony this year. The prestigious title is a testament to her hard work and dedication throughout her academic journey.
Ms. Ailaoa, daughter of Faalogo Ailaoa and Nelisa Ailaoa, has excelled in a wide range of subjects, clinching first place in English, Accounting, Economics, and Computer Studies, and securing the third position in Mathematics. Her academic prowess has not only brought her to the forefront of her peers but also made her family incredibly proud.
In an exclusive interview, Ms. Ailaoa shared her aspirations and motivations. “Since a young age, I’ve always wanted to make my parents proud, recognising the sacrifices they’ve made for my success,” she said. Inspired to pursue a career in auditing, she credits her faith in God for her achievements and future ambitions.
