The Ministry of Justice has ongoing projects that were paused before the country entered the holiday season. These include cases that were postponed from previous years.
The Ministry has announced that its judicial operations will resume at the end of this month.
This week marked the start of a two-week training program aimed at refreshing and expanding the knowledge of its staff in Upolu and Savaii. The training covers Guidelines, Fundamentals, and especially the Laws that guide various operational tasks.
These tasks include the Discussion and Registration of chiefly titles, the Confirmation and Bestowal of titles, and other significant duties related to the Judiciary.
As these services are set to continue, a special ceremony is planned for next Monday, attended by Judges from various courts and the esteemed staff, to pledge their service to be conducted with honesty and justice.
