Not every day you see horses running wild through busy cities, but that’s exactly what happened in the bustling streets of London this morning.
During a regular exercise near Buckingham Palace, five military horses got scared by loud noises from a construction site. They ran off, causing chaos in central London during rush hour. Four riders fell off, and three were taken to the hospital.
The horses ran through the streets, hitting vehicles and shocking people. Eventually, they were caught and taken for medical checks. Witnesses saw some horses crashing into cars and buses. One horse was injured, with blood on its face and legs. The extent of injuries to the horses wasn’t immediately clear. The military explained that they regularly exercise horses to prepare them for parades, but today’s incident was unusual and they thanked everyone who helped.
