The fishing industry in Samoa is continually evolving, and this visit was an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends and identify potential benefits for our country.
Among the topics discussed was the need for Samoa to establish a fishing port that would serve both local and international fishing vessels and provide an on-site fish processing facility.
This proposed fishing port is expected to significantly boost Samoa’s economy by enhancing the fishing industry and attracting other businesses to the area.
