The first night of the 2024 Digicel Miss Samoa Pageant was a spectacular show of creativity and skills from the 15 contestants and their teams.
Held at the Matagialalua Friendship Park on Wednesday night, the event filled the park’s amphitheatre with family, friends, and fans of the contestants, cheering on the brave 15 tama’ita’i Samoa on stage.
Three categories were judged on the first night:
- Introduction
- Sarong
- Puletasi
- Coconut
All 15 of the young tama’ita’i Samoa vying for the Miss Samoa crown put on an amazing performance.
The reigning Miss Samoa and Miss Pacific Islands, Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke, also thrilled the crowd with her “fire queen” skills, showcasing an incredible ailao afi performance—a talent she proudly represents.
The final night of the pageant, Crowning Night, will be held tomorrow (Saturday, 07 September 2024).
