The newly crowned Miss Samoa 2024-2025 Litara Loma Leilani Ieremia-Allan will now begin her journey and duties as Miss Samoa. That follows her being officially presented by the Onomea Productions to the Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) on Tuesday.

The event was attended by Litara’s family and friends, STA staff and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) Toeolesulusulu Cedric Schuster.

The event was also an official farewell of Onomea Productions to the former Miss Samoa Moemoana Safa’ato’a Schwenke.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Litara revealed how humbling it is to be Miss Samoa and guaranteed it is a role she does not take lightly.

Miss Samoa grew up admiring all the Miss Samoa, and never thought the glitz and glam would be her thing as she was one who was into sports.

“Only recently we thought why not, so I guess it’s a message to any tama’ita’i you can do anything. If I can do it, you can do it!”

A teacher by profession, Miss Samoa has always been moved by the problems and issues pertaining to the youth.

As a result, during her reign she will be working with programs and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and agencies that already engage with the youth.

Litara is moved by the love of Samoa, and she prays and hopes she has ‘acknowledged and paid tribute to elders, our youth, and our ancestors’.

She will now be preparing to represent Samoa in the next Miss Pacific Islands Pageant in 2025 in the Solomon Islands.
