As part of their official visit for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), King Charles and Queen Camilla will stay at the luxurious Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa in Siumu, Samoa. After fulfilling their duties in Canberra and Sydney, the royal couple will travel to Samoa, where they will be greeted with a traditional ‘Ava Fa’atupu ceremony.

During their stay, King Charles will visit a mangrove forest, explore a National Park, and plant a tree in the island’s Botanical Garden, showing his dedication to environmental preservation.

Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa, a four-star boutique hotel on Upolu Island’s southern coast, has been selected as their accommodation. Known for its serene beauty and cultural richness, Sinalei embraces the island’s eco-friendly ethos, aligning with King Charles’s passion for sustainability. The resort’s efforts in sustainable waste disposal and tree planting projects add to its appeal.

Rich in history, Sinalei’s location has royal significance, once being a gathering place for Samoan kings and warriors. The resort offers 29 traditional villas with breathtaking views of gardens and the ocean. If time allows, the King and Queen can enjoy snorkeling, spa treatments, or participate in a FIA FIA night, featuring traditional fire dancing and Samoan cuisine.

With King Charles and Queen Camilla soon to arrive, Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa is sure to become an even more desirable destination for those seeking a royal-level retreat.
