Accompanied by Finance Minister Lautimuia Afoa Vaai and a delegation of seven CEOs, Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa was welcomed to the capital by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hong Lei, under 8-degree cold weather conditions.
Since arriving in the People’s Republic of China last week, the Prime Minister and her delegation have been engaging in extensive on-the-ground site visits showcasing China’s ingenuity in development project initiatives across sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, education, and technology.
She is scheduled to hold high-level bilateral meetings with Premier Li Qiang and President Xi Jinping later this week.
