Tineiimu Ministry opens Christmas celebrations with official programme

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s Fire and Emergency Management Division formally opened its Christmas celebrations on Monday, 22 December 2025, with an official programme led by the Minister responsible for the portfolio, Ale Vena Ale.

In his keynote address, the Minister acknowledged the leadership of the Commissioner, senior management, officers, staff, invited guests, families, and partners who gathered for the occasion. He said the event marked an opportunity to come together in fellowship and gratitude at the close of the year.

The Minister said the Christmas programme, prepared by the Commissioner and staff, was intended to extend goodwill and Christmas blessings not only to employees but also to families, partners, communities, and the people of Samoa. He recognised the ongoing service and commitment of Fire and Emergency personnel, noting that their work continues for the safety and wellbeing of the nation.

He also conveyed appreciation to the Ministry’s governance bodies, including the Board and management committees, as well as the Commissioner and staff, for their service throughout the year. Special acknowledgement was given to families and supporters who attended the programme to witness the Christmas celebrations.

The Minister concluded by wishing the Ministry well, expressing hope for continued blessings on its work, and formally declaring the Christmas festivities and performances officially open.
