The Samoa Information Technology Association (SITA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 28 February 2025 at Vodafone Samoa Headquarters, Maluafou. The event brought together ICT professionals, industry leaders, and stakeholders to review 2024 activities and set priorities for 2025.
The AGM included a presentation of SITA’s 2024 annual report, financial statements, and key initiatives. Members elected a new Executive Committee, with Leiataualesa Jobenz Manoa taking on the role of President. Mailo Henry Mailo was elected Vice President, Vui Athena Matalavea as Secretary, and Li’o Mark Bartley as Treasurer. Executive members include Leota Sarai Faleupolu Tevita, Ainsof So’o, Eugene Barker, Maiava Filimoni Pelenato, and Viresa Setima.
Outgoing President Leota Sarai Faleupolu Tevita reflected on the association’s progress and expressed appreciation for the support of members and partners.
“It has been an honour to serve as SITA’s President. Over the past years, we have expanded our reach, strengthened partnerships, and advanced key ICT initiatives in Samoa. I am confident that the new executive team will build upon this momentum,” said Tevita.

Newly elected President Leiataualesa Jobenz Manoa outlined SITA’s agenda for 2025, focusing on strengthening cybersecurity, fostering digital transformation, and enhancing Samoa’s digital ecosystem through collaboration with the Government of Samoa and international partners.
“SITA remains committed to empowering ICT professionals and promoting capacity-building, policy discussions, and industry networking to support ICT growth in Samoa,” said Manoa.
After the formal proceedings, attendees participated in a networking session, exchanging ideas and exploring new collaborations. Vodafone Samoa hosted the event.
