Samoa’s commercial printing industry has received a significant technology boost following the arrival of two Fuji Xerox Versant 180 Press production printers at Lesa’s Telephone Services Co Ltd, trading as LTS Telecommunications.
The company says only three of the advanced production printers are currently located across the Pacific region, with two now based in Samoa.
The investment is expected to expand the range and quality of commercial printing services available locally, allowing businesses, government agencies, schools and other organisations to produce professional materials without relying as heavily on overseas providers.
The Fuji Xerox Versant 180 Press is designed for high-volume commercial printing and is capable of producing business cards, brochures, annual reports, educational resources, booklets, posters and other marketing materials.
It is also recognised for its image quality, colour consistency and ability to handle a wide variety of print jobs.
For Samoa, the arrival of the equipment could mean faster turnaround times, increased production capacity and greater flexibility for organisations requiring specialised printing work.
LTS Telecommunications said the investment reflects its commitment to preparing Samoa for future business and technological demands.
“Innovation doesn’t begin when demand arrives—it begins by being ready for it.”
The company said access to advanced production systems would help local organisations respond to growing expectations for high-quality printed materials while supporting Samoa’s wider digital transformation.
LTS Telecommunications has operated in Samoa for more than 37 years and says it has continued to invest in technologies intended to support businesses, government agencies and institutions.
The company also emphasised that the new printing services would be made affordable and accessible to the local market.
The arrival of the two machines places Samoa in a strong position within the Pacific’s developing commercial digital printing sector and provides local organisations with access to technology normally associated with larger international markets.
The announcement was issued by the LTS Telecommunications Marketing Unit.
