Samoa’s retail fuel prices have changed again from 1 September 2025, with petrol and kerosene decreasing while diesel rises.
The new prices, as announced by the Ministry of Finance, are:
- Petrol: $2.99 per litre (down 2.6 sene from $3.02)
- Diesel: $3.16 per litre (up 4.7 sene from $3.11)
- Kerosene: $2.66 per litre (down 2.9 sene from $2.69)
The adjustments are based on the July 2025 Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) marker prices. Officials noted that international oil prices remain volatile, influenced by the war in Ukraine, instability in the Middle East, and global economic concerns tied to new United States trade policies.
