Cabinet has appointed Malaeulu Aysha Perlina Rimoni as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Unit Trust of Samoa (UTOS) for a three-year term.
She succeeds former CEO Tevaga Viane Tagiilima, who did not reapply for the role.
Malaeulu previously held the position of Chief Investment Analyst, an ACEO-level role, serving two full three-year contracts with UTOS. She was six months into her third term, reappointed in September 2024, when selected for the top job.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Information Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Information Science from Otago University.
Four candidates applied for the CEO position.
