Ready Homes Samoa, owned by Fuimaono Jack Siō and Muliaga Robert Ash, were first to market with expandable container homes into Samoa, first to obtain approved home insurance and now has delivered Samoa’s first 40ft expandable container homes. Two units have arrived for the Worship Centre Christian Church, offering an alternative to traditional housing construction in the Pacific.
Founded in 2024, Ready Homes Samoa was established to meet the need for faster, affordable, and durable housing solutions. Traditional home building in Samoa often faces delays due to weather, supply chain issues, and the cost of imported materials. By using prefabricated container homes, the company offers a streamlined process, cutting down construction time and costs while maintaining consistent quality.

The company’s key to success is having a Samoan-born Chinese speaking quality control partner in China, exclusivity with a major manufacturer and being a NZ freight forwarder means better control over production, product quality, shipping and communication.
Each unit is made from galvanised steel, designed to resist corrosion from sea salt, and reinforced to withstand N4-N5 wind ratings. With proper maintenance, the homes are expected to last up to 40 years.
Ready homes signature design is different from others and designed with style, innovation and suitability for Pacific’s tropical climate and include fire and seismic protection, smart home automation through Digicel Pacific, wider doors and windows for better airflow, and layouts that accommodate elderly residents and people with disabilities. Solar-powered options with long-term warranties and an annual maintenance service by registered builder partners are also part of the package. Each unit features timber-style cladding, a pitched roof, a gutter system for rainwater collection, and a three-meter outdoor deck with a covered terrace. Plumbing and wiring comply with AUS/NZ standards.

Fuimaono Jack Siō and Muliaga Robert Ash thanked the Worship Centre Christian Church for trusting their company to supply the homes. They also recognised the contributions of Lorenzo and the team at Betham Brothers, Alan Schwalger of Schwalger Design and Built Ltd, SSAB and Masoe Norman Wetzell of ACP Ltd.
“We’re grateful for the support that made these homes possible. Thank you to everyone who helped us make this happen,” they said.
